3D-Robustness Module Demo
The extension of the Design Space concept of DryLab® from one to two and, then, to three dimensions for robustness visualization in HPLC led to the development of a "Resolution Space," that displays a 3D Resolution Cube. The coordinates are gradient time (tG) (x-axis), ternary composition (TC) (y-axis) with acetonitrile (AN) in the back and methanol (MeOH) in the front, and temperature (T) (z-axis).

The Animation shows a scan through the 3D Robustness Space, which illustrates several robust regions (Rs,crit > 1.5) in red and significant peak overlaps shown in blue (Rs,crit = 0). Surprisingly, it predicts that we have higher robustness using MeOH than AN. The scan can be stopped and restarted for viewing details in the changing chromatogram.
